Best Pest Control was started in 1981 as a part time hobby for Bruce Gow. Bruce started out as a policeman with an old utility and basic spraying equipment. As his business grew, he added more equipment and upgraded his vehicle.

In 1988 Bruce staged a unique promotion in a local Shopping Centre called "The Great Australian Bug Hunt". A prize was put up for the largest Ant, Cockroach or Spider captured. A large range of peculiar insects were entered and put on display in the Shopping Centre. The competition was extremely popular and business became brisk as a direct result of this unique marketing. More trucks were purchased and staff were hired to cope with the fresh demand.

Best Pest Control now operates six pest trucks out of their Prestons base in Sydney's West with fully qualified and licensed Pest Technicians. They are supported by a friendly and experienced Customer Service Team ready to help solve your particular pest problem or requirements be it residential or commercial. Best Pest specialises in Cockroach and Termite treatments, offering a full range of Termite baiting and inspection services.
