  Pest Patrol Procedures

A home inspection for pest control of garden pests needs to be very thorough by your pest control operator to access all bug breeding areas of your home. Do not rely upon electronic pest control equipment as most systems don’t work effectively in integrated pest management. Electronic or ultrasonic pest control systems cannot be relied upon and at best, ultrasonic products give false peace of mind as they simply don’t work at discouraging any sort of pest. A natural pest repeller would be a squirrel that chases bugs, but squirrels are pests themselves and are NOT affected by electronic devices excepting electric fences!

Pest patrol your garden pests by lifting pots, clearing litter and inspecting all hiding places in the garden, fences, paths, sheds and basement areas of your home. This should also be done at night as most pests are nocturnal. An integrated pest management plan should then be put into place for your home pest control to become effective.

Ask any major pest control company (Orkin, Terminix etc) in Los Angeles, Houston, Washington DC, Dallas or Chicago if they prefer to pest patrol or rely on electronic repellers and you will see what I mean. In Australia ask Flick Control or Amalgamated in Sydney or Brisbane and the answer will still be the same. Nothing beats a good pest patrol for efficient home inspection and building inspection combined with integrated pest management.
